Tour Krizik Fountain
by Imbi
If the thought of water jets and lasers spraying and pulsing to music intrigues you, have a look at this summertime attraction. As music blares, water spurts from dozens of jets scattered around a large pool.
A computer-controlled lighting-show adds appropriate dramatic touches. It makes quite a spectacle, especially on a warm evening Address

On the Charles Bridge there is a plaque showing a knight and a dog. If you pet the dog you are supposed to get some good luck. The dog gets petted alot--it is bronzed and shiny whereas the reaminder of the plaque has tarnished.
Ledeburska Garden
by marktynernyc
The palace gardens are located in the Mala Strana beneath the Prague castle (Ledeburska Garden, 95 Kn). I started at the top, accessible through the South Garden, and worked my way down its numerous terraces. The views from the garden are wonderful. I woudl love to be in Prague late spring to see these gardens - I’m sure the gardens are a great respite from the crowds.
Golden Trabant
by sandysmith
The gardens of the German Embassy were invaded in the summer of 1989 by thousands of East Germans who then proceeded to camp out there whilst seeking West German citizenship. Their treasured trabants were left in the surrounding streets of Mala Strana, as trains were laid on to take them into West Germany. This flood of refugees led to the collapse of the Berlin Wall. To mark this historical occassion a Golden Trabant on legs can be seen in the garden - the Quo Vadis ? - a modern sculpture by David Cerny.
