Beyond that Prague has an excellent easy to use underground. The density of the stations is rather low but combined with the tramway or 15 minutes walk from the stations really every place of interest for a visitor is easy to reach.
The use of the underground is easy, the only caveat ist that you need coins (ask at the hotel or in the restaurants) and the number of installed ticket machines is limited. The good news : the ticket machines are multi-lingual. The other good news: as Prague has three lines and only 3 "changing" stations the trips are easy to plan (compared to Paris) The underground is fast and one feels safe (there are far less "suspicious" people than in Hamburg, London, Paris or New York). Compared to Germany (except Cologne and Munich) there is a dense presence of Police forces.
