You very simply get to track #1, leave the station there and on the northside of the building (see my picture-combination) you have a lift to the 4th floor and walk up the rest to the 5th floor.
Single-rooms are 19-29 €uros with your own facilities
or 13-19 €uros with shared facilities
(these prices depend on the season, and a list of all prices is found on their web-page in various languages - just click on my link !
I was lucky to be there at the lowest season and had a 3-bed-room for my own and payed just 10 €uros / per night.
Breakfast was NOT included, but I prefer tasting different places anyway - see my various restaurant-tips !
NO curfew !!

A great area for a vaction, when you like to go hiking, byking or climbing !

This boat-hotel is docked in the northern centre of Prague, opposite the LETNA-park, and within a 10 minutes walk to the jewish quater and Charles Bridge.
These kind of boatels always attract my attention, as ships of that kind may dock right in the middle of town and the atmosphere inside the small rooms reminds me a lot of the time, when I was working onboard of cruiseships and had the chance to explore a lot of the world.
A disadvantage of Boatels are the rather small rooms and the fact, that single-rooms are mostly not available, or simply as expensive as doublerooms !

The interior of the restaurant and cafe is in Art Nouveau-style and offers also a nice garden along Wentzel Square.
Even tourists, who do not stay in that hotel may get a great breakfast-buffet there, quite expensive for Prague, but maybe worth a try, considdering the great architecture inside !
In summer 2003 the buffet was 300 Kronen / 10 €

 Zamek Detenice - 45km

The castle is really beautiful and shows also a great interior and plenty of medieval weapons, cannons and iron armours.
A part of the castle is used as a hotel and restaurant with excellent cuisine for reasonable prices.
Outside of the castle you may visit another funny restaurant, decorated like a western-saloon.

The entrance is a bit hidden by Hotel Europa, and ONLY when having a look at the fassade, you will realize, that Hotel Meran is seperate.
In my opinion the fassade is even more beautiful than the one of Hotel Europa, so maybe you watch out for it, when you are there.

The hotel is on my pic the door at the very end of the street.
I may imagine, a taxi could go there, but with your private car it might be a problem, where to park.
The surrounding is absolutely beautiful and quiet.
With just a few minutes to walk, you will get to the castle or to Palais Waldstein / Valdstejnsky palac.
It is certainly NO cheap place to go, but a great place for a great vacation.

I had my motorhome parked just around the corner and had a beer there before I went to sleep inside my car.
This is one of the best hotels that I saw in Roznov pod Radhostem, and it has a big parking although it is situated in the very centre of town.
