Bank building
by Dabs
My favorite building in Ceske Budejovice was across the street from Masny Kramy, on the corner of Krajinska and Hroznova Streets, the Komercni banka palace built during 1912-1913 in the Art Nouveau style. I believe it's still a bank but we didn't try to go in, the reference to the building I saw suggested that the interior might be interesting if you have a chance to go inside.
Kratochvile - the church

Kratochvile - the church
is the first place you will visit on the tour. They play choral-music inside the church
all day long, turned off only during the tours.
The church is rather small, but has a great ceiling with wonderful decorations.
After visiting the church, I left the tour, as I had seen the castle already on my own,
just with my camera
Beautiful square
by rsudic
Really big square with nice buildings. Someone told it's the biggest one in such small city. Also, all the streets that lead to it are full of small colorfull houses.
If you travel from Linz (Austria) to Prague, must stop, must drink coffee on this square.
You can also park your car here.
Black Tower
by Dabs
The Black Tower was built by the Germans who lived here as a guard and bell tower in the mid 1500s, paid for with silver and salt. You can climb the tower for a view over the city if you're willing to climb the 225 stairs to get there, this was one tower that we didn't climb.
This website has more information on the Black Tower if you are interested.
