A traveller's dream!!
Hostel Skippy is clean, comfortable accomodation located right on the rushing Vltava. The rooms are cozy, and there is a beautiful deck over the river where guests can sit and enjoy the scenery at their leisure. The kitchen and fridge are also free for guests to use.
The house is owned by "Skippy", a kind and interesting woman who loves music. One of the highlights of my visit to the Czech Republic was hearing Skippy and other guests play music in a local pub, and sitting on the beautiful terrace.

Great place to stay
Skippy is a very nice lady. She's a "Roma" or "Gypsy" and if she likes you, she may take you to one of her "shows", where people gather and play guitar.
The view is great...right on the river. It's a little bit of a trek on foot, but very do-able.
This isn't a dorm-style hostel. Skippy has single and double rooms. She has a full kitchen you are welcome to use.

A rustic abode by the Vltava
This is a great place to stay when in Cesky Krumlov. It's a little off the tourist circuit, but well known amongst the travellers. I spent several memorable days here on my second visit to Krumlov in 1998. It's managed by the likeable character Skippy a Czech Cuban women who speaks excellent English and enjoys the company of her guests alot.
Unique Quality: Having the big room at the front all to myself in the low season. The terrace which looks over the roar of the Vltava and the coziest little kichen in town.

Best place to chill
This small hostel is directly on the water. The best activity in all of CK is to sit on the big porch and listen to the water running by. When we were there Skippy enjoyed listening to Manu Chao out there. Also a very helpful owner, she helped me get some medicine at the pharmacy as well as gave me some special tea for my cold. She is also helpful in suggesting places to bike to as well as rafting suggestions.
