Pension Anna

This pension was one of the best places that we have ever stayed while visiting Europe. It was very cheap (about $12 per person) and offered an excellent breakfast. We got so much food for breakfast, in fact, that it pretty much sustained us until dinner.

The beds are comfortable, there is a little bar on the bottom floor, and the hosts are very nice. We loved the rustic feel of our two-story room and the fact that our room overlooked the pretty little cobble-stoned street. There are televisions in the rooms, but no telephones.

Unique Quality: One night my friend that was traveling with me got very very sick and could not stop throwing up. When the woman who worked in the pension found out, she made her a little pot of tea and sent it on a tray up to our room for her. Every day after that, whenever my friend would come down for breakfast, the lady always made sure that she got a handful of extra Christmas cookies. On the other hand, the guy is kind of a jerk. Seems like most people have noticed this so at least it wasn't just us.
