Hotel Ruze

We don't not stay in the hotel, but I merely had a look inside to inform about a longer stay in the near future, because I definately want to come back to this unique town.
Just look at their website, to get a glimpse of this very nice hotel!
We stayed in Cesky Krumlov in August 2005. We went there because we found Cesky Krumlov on the UNESCO heritage sight and it sounded great. Initially we were thinking of staying in one of the cheaper pensions, but having just left the dusty Hotel Tautermann in Innsbruck (which left us with itchy skin), we decided to go to the best hotel. It turned out that the hotel Ruze was truly the best. We obtained 2 innterconnecting rooms, one with a quuen bed and private facilities and one with 2 single beds. Both rooms were very spaceous and had a decor in line with the age of this ex Jesuit monastery. A few seconds after we entered our rooms, room service brought up 2 welcoming fruit platters shown in the picture. The bathrooms and toilets were clean and fun especially the toilets otherwise known as the "throne room". The queen bed was very comfortable however the wooden planks of the single beds not so much. The furniture looked antique with beautiful tapestries on the walls.
The best feature of the hotel was the view from our rooms. You looked out and were transported into a world of simple pleasures. There were people kayaking in the river which surrounded the village, you could hear the laughter of families. The other outstanding feature was the hotel's terrace which over looked the river.
We all enjoyed out stay at the Ruze and will return there again. This hotel added an extra dimension to our Cesky Krumlov experience
