We arrived from Wein via train, and toured the wine country using this as a base. The Breclav train station was around 20 minutes away, and the streets are not marked.
The facility is new, and very clean. It is located on a very large pond, perhaps it could be called a small lake. There are two main buildings, the hotel room building and the larger, much older chateau/palace which is where they serve food. The chateau sits very close to the lake.
Our room was very modern, with a very large screened window to open for fresh air. There was a color TV, but no clock or alarm.
The breakfast was very pleasant in the open dining area and included in the room cost.
I do not know of any other accomodations in this area! It is thus unique and well positioned for the very undiscovered wine areas of Southern Moravia.
It would seem to be a very good place to stay for the many cross-country bike teams we observed in the wine regions. It is sufficiently modern for any tastes, and secure. We were able to visit Lednice and Mikulov in a single day with time to spare. We could have added Valtice but wanted to spend more time sampling wine at the local, non-commercial growers' cellars. What a treat.
