Are there any hostels in Brno?
by Drugness
Hello all
I'm visiting Brno in April and i see that the Travellers Hostel is only open during July and August, that's no good to me obviously.
Can anyone recommend another hostel in Brno if there is one? Of course i would like to stay in the city centre and be close to the main sights, and i would like a reasonably priced place too! Tall order! :D
Can anyone recommend a place?
I can't find anything online
Thanks!
DG

There are zillions of places you can stay there, best is to check the official city site: www.brno.cz
If its difficult for you to find, here is a list in English: http://www.brno.cz/download/ksm/brozury/ubytovani.pdf
Book the direct to the hotel on-line or by e-mail they can give you special rates. And when in Brno, you will finally be able to have a real good beer, the Starobrno ;-)

No need to stay in a hostel while visitng Brno. Consider private accomodations. People having available rooms in their houses work with the Tourist Information Service in the historic city center. Stop in the office upon your arrival, and they will arrange a great accomodation at a very good price. There is no charge to you for this service.
