"Zu den zween Erzherzogen" is an old traditional inn opposite of the Roland's well, and on the left of my picture.

It is the oldest inn & hotel in Cheb and since 1531 plenty of celebrities were living there.

Spalicek & a lovely cafe

This is Spalizek / Stöckl from the backside, and you may see that it really consists of different merchant-houses, built in the 12th century .
One of them is a nice cafe with a garden - a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe an "Egerlaender" ( a kind of pastry with a top of powidl-jam of plums and cheese-curd)

Cheb...the fleamarket city!

"A bargain-hunter's paradise!"

I'm sure there is more to see in Cheb than fleamarkets. Unfortunately, I've only been there with blinders on and dollar signs in my eyes...not something I'm particularly proud of! I may return someday and dig a little deeper, but for the time being, this has been my experience. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!
