This sculpture is close to the Theatre / Cinema and is another great excemple of architecture simply made in order to be enjoyed by the visitors without having any specific function at all.
I wish I could see something like this in mdern architecture of today.

Church of St Mary Magdalena

Is one of the gorgeous architectures in Karlovy Vary. It was buit in 1733-1736 instead of the old gotic kirk from the second half of 14.century. The St. Maria Magdalena church was built following the plans of outstanding architect Kilian Ignac Dietzenhofer. It belongs to the valuablest national treasures from the baroque periode. The space inside the church is richly devided, with uncommon groud plan and reflect the baroque profuseness, so diferent from all others architectonic idioms.
The church is 38 meters long, 14 meters wide and the height of the cupolas is reaching 38 meters. During the conflagration in1759 the church was hardly damaged. The two frontages particulary. The striking statue of st. Mary Magdalena and the cross which was placed in the top of gable tumbled down too. Even so the church bells were disolved by huge heat. The present form the church become not until 1861.

The movie made this town Montenegro....but everyone who went there must remember The Grand Hotel Pupp they shot as Casino Royale!

I went to this small beautiful town in January. The place Czech people come to vacation....drink hot spring water....and go to spa.

Cool little town is in the valley with the mineral river runs along. In spring or summer, the town will be lively!!!

In the early morning, you will see lots of people in this town carrying their special hot spring cups (look like small jars) to fill the strange taste mineral water in and drink it while hot. They believe in the benefits of the hot spring that can cure many diseases and keep you healthy :)

There are many spots to fill your cup, each of them built near the sources with beautiful architecture....even you don't like its taste, you will like to see the places;)

"Another romantic town"

The beautiful architecture of the town and classy accommodation will make your vacation with your special one be another romantic memory (but I went there with my mom and colleagues....another lovely trip though)
