There are quite extensive parks behind the Grandhotel Pupp. When I was last there several people were enjoying the skating there on the broad paths.
I wanted to join them but my hotpants were in the wash.

Central hotel
3 star hotel , central postion, ensuite, room with single bed ,bedside table,wardrobe,tv,safe, table,phone and easy chair. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. 885 Kc or 36 euro [£31 ] for room and breakfast. Good value.
Unique Quality: The hotel has a restuarant, soup, main coarse,beer 258 Kc.

Moser - Glassware Set "Denmark"
During my second visit in August 2001, this glassware set "Denmark" was on display in one of the rooms. Prices weren't attached and needn't have been - everything is expensive!
There's also a room featuring items that can be bought - my friend and I calculated we could afford only 1 ashtray each! Ok, we were on a budget, but still...
One of Sourbuggers favourites
I've visited this place on a number of occasions.
If you arrive by train, you would probably get the wrong impression about the place as it is a squat messy sort of a station.
However, the further you get into the town the better it becomes : and the the woodland walking around the place is very invigorating.
The last time I stayed, it was in style at the Grand Hotel Pupp - it certainly gives you a new perspective.
I think I would still plump for Marianske Lazne in terms of beauty - but there is much more going on here.
