Pension in Karlovy Vary

My family and I stayed here this summer. The Pension Villa Basileia is located on the edge of town near the Grand Pupp Hotel. It is within walking distance from the kolonades, shopping, restaurants, and mineral spring. Oksana, the Russian woman that runs the pension was delightful. It was like staying with your Russian aunt, if you had one. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and extremely clean. The breakfast was a typical european breakfast of meat, cheese, yogurt, bread, coffee, tea, and juice. Very satisfying. The Pension is right on the river. There is a nice back porch to sit and read or chat with friends and a barbeque if you like to grill your own food. If you are ever in Karlovy Vary save your money for a crystal chanedier and stay with Oksana at the Pension Villa Basileia.
