I saw another pension sign...
I got lucky again by seeing this sign as it turned out to be perhaps the nicest room I've ever had in the Czech Republic. It looks quite unassuming from the outside but once inside, you see the owners have tastefully refurbished the place to make you feel right at home. At 600 kc (about $20) a double, it's a true bargain.
Unique Quality: The rooms are quite airy and light, with TV's and spaceous private bathrooms. You can get an optional breakfast in a charming little part of the corridor, made up as a breakfast room. Or just go to the local shop and have breakfast in bed as we did. :))
