Cheap, Cheerful and Very Central

We have stayed at the Cab Inn on 3 occasions and apart from the rooms being a little on the small side, we really do not have any complaints. Everything is spotlessly clean and secure. It all works like clockwork which is just as it should do. You get your complimentary teas and coffees as promised and there are no problems if you ask for more.

You can get drinks and snacks 24/7 in their lobby/reception bar area, which has very comfortable seating and is an ideal central location to meet somebody. (Everyone knows where it is.)

Breakfast is served in a large, sunny, airy room overlooking the canal - very scenic! And there is a huge choice - something to please everybody, really. There are also complimentary newspapers every morning, which is nice.

Their slogan is "Sleep Cheap in Luxury" - I would not call it luxury - It's fairly basic but you certainly sleep cheep.

Unique Quality: The big advantage with Cab Inn is the price - It must surely be the lowest price of any hotel in Århus. Some of them are ridiculously expensive. Secondly, it is quite a large hotel. Hence you will find that even in the busiest periods, like the festival, they almost always have rooms available.

Another big plus is their very central location. On one side, they are right next to the Århus Theatre in Stor Torv, which is the city's main square. It is also the site of the main stage during Århus festival week. Very handy. Don't worry though, you will not be able to hear those wonderful Danish rock bands playing, unless you open the windows. The double glazing and air-conditioning is very good.

The back door opens onto the canal, which is ideal as it is lined with loads of restaurants. (My favourite is the little Mexican one, next to the hotel.)
