Amsterdam takes about 12 hours and you'll need to change at least four times.

To Hamburg it'll be 5 hours by train, to Berlin 8 hours. To Copenhagen there's a direct connection that takes 3 hours.

Apart from these, I'd suggest a visit to Legoland, which is just some 100km away. At first glance it looks like a children's theme park, but the miniature model world they built solely of Lego bricks is amazing. There's unfortunatly just a poor small photo at http://www.legoland.dk/LEGOLAND/Park+Map/LEGOLAND+park+map.htm?lc=en#Miniland , a few more can be seen at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legoland_Billund .

snow in Aarhus

by elsebeth

3 weeks ago there was so much snow here that the trafic was chaos and the busses didn't run. Then it is really bad. We usually don't have that much snow so all the people was so surprised and had to take their cars out to check if it was really true that it was slippery and snowy. silly people!

Don't overpack--you might be walking with your luggage, so keep the amount of stuff you bring to a minimum. Large backpacks are the best and most practical. Wear whatever you want--no worries--but you might want to bring your "cool" clothes if you want to blend in a bit. Bring as much as film as possible or lots of memory if you bring a digicam. Don't forget to bring voltage adaptors--and only if you have a transformer. Continental two-pin adaptors are necessary, and most electrical items without transformers will not take 220 volt electricity.

This piece of pipe is rebuild after a machine with pure ammonia. This pipes let pure ammonia run from a - z. On different spots can be a leeck again made by the teachers. The blue bags can be helpfull. You can put them over the leeck and collect the pure ammonia so an other person has more vieuw to close the leeck.

No they didnt had a nice swimm, cause this swimmingpool is also in the fireschool. On the rightside of the picture you can see a 'dinky' the survivalboat if you work on a oil platform and on some boats. Here they learn you the technics to stay alive in it.
