Few questions that need answering please

by unclekevin

If anyone could take a few minutes and answer these questions below then i would be greatly thankful.

1. Me and friends are thinking of going to Aarhus for New Years Eve, is it be a good place to go to?

2. We are thinking of staying at the Radisson Sas Scandinavia Hotel, is the location of the hotel a good one to bars, restaurants etc?

3. What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the hotel.

4. Are there many bars/nightclubs in Aarhus and are they close proximity ?

Any help would again be very appreciated.

1. good place to go to? Compared to where? Not been in Århus for NYE but it is a small, friendly city.

2. Århus is small enough for it not to be a problem!

3. Current bus fare from Århus airport is Dkk 90 - Tickets are sold on the bus. Accepted currencies are; Norwegian Crowns, US Dollars, Pounds and Euro. Major Credit Cards are also accepted.
timetable´s here http://www.midttrafik.dk/k8replaner/lufthavnsbus+%A5rhus+lufthavn

4. Århus has a university - so not surprisingly there´s lots of bars. Not going to recommend any particular one as that´s very much a matter of personal taste.

Travel Tips for Århus

Silkeborg's Tourist Office

by starship

If you visit the Silkeborg Museum, you may also have time to stop at the Silkeborg Tourist Office which is very close to the museum and the lake as well. The tourist office is a good place to get information, brochures, maps, postcards and the like.

The tourist office is located in a building that has some history of its own. It was built in 1921 for bank manager, Arnold Knap, as his private home. The home was designed by local architect Anton Rosen who also designed several other distinctive buildings around Silkeborg. When Mr. Knap owned it, it was a grand mansion of sorts with large rooms, elegant furnishings and two rooms for two live-in maids.

Subsequently, in 1956 the building changed from being a private home to a maternity home, turned into a "houseshare", and finally was sold to the town of Silkeborg. After some minor renovations, in 1996 the once elegant home became what it is today, a tourist information office and probably the most elegant architectural one you'll see.

well go to the obvious places...

by elsebeth

well go to the obvious places like the old town , and Moesgaard strand(beach) but also to the beach ..I was at a place called Den permanente which is a place for people who wants privacy and its kinda some shacks of wood.
I went there one night with some friends of mine and we had a small fire there and made food there .it was dark but so cozy since we had a guitar and sang songs and drank some beers

Packing List

by Umfufu

Its very important you follow all the steps to get dressed. If you miss one, that can mean your live inside isnt in your own hands. All have to be in its place and you have to make sure all is well before you go in the excersise so can you imagine if it for real !! Dont mess with excersise or real, always think that what you are doing is real, cause the pure ammonia is!

At every school there is not only the pratical part of something but also the theoretic part. Overhere the men are learning what can happen with pure ammonia and what you have to do to stay healthy.
