a modern hotel on the beach
I did not stay in this hotel, but just had a look at it, while taking a walk along the beach of Ebeltoft. It is a modern hotel, close to the beach and not far from the old part of Ebeltoft and also just about 200 meters from the famous ship.
Unique Quality: Dont expect a nice beach to swim here anywhere in Ebeltoft ! In my 2nd photo here you will see the "kind of beach" they have in front of the hotel !

"Fregatten Jylland"
This is one of the main reasons for visiting Ebeltoft.
This vessel is the longest wooden ship in the world.
It was put in service as early as 1860, it is still in extraordinary good condition.
The museum also have a interesting part showing the scuba diving history.
"Kalø castle ruin"
This castle ruin is located only a few kilometers outside Ebeltoft.
The area is really nice and this is a perfect place to spend one day to chill out.
Its a 2 kilometers long hike from the shore out to the ruins

The construction was started in 1313 and it was in use until 1660

"Ebeltoft"
A short drive from Arhus is the quaint seaside village of Ebeltoft, where we went on 5 July. The old Danish sailing frigate, the "Jylland" is on display there, set in maritime surroundings next to the wharf. The ship has been restored and is well worth a visit, to see what Danish naval life would have been like 100 years ago.
