Danish hospitality
We spent a night here en route to København from Jutland.
Kerteminde is a small resort and we were very pleased with the friendly reception.
Room was comfortable and larger than we might have expected. Free wi-fi is always a bonus now.
Relaxing with a beer from the local micro-brewery in the late summer sunshine on the hotel terrace was excellent.
Unfortunately one of us got TOO relaxed and left his bag there. Obviously no-one else noticed as it was still there complete with contents inc mobile phone, six hours later after we´d had dinner!

A good place to stop off at.
We were very pleased with this hotel which was possibly rather smarter than we had expected.
We had a very comfortable room with a great view, and an excellent meal in a busy restaurant which seemed very popular with local residents as well as visitors to the hotel.
As elsewhere in Denmark we found eating out expensive and wine marked up much more than we were used to at home. By this time on our trip we knew what to expect so ate up, supped up, paid up and enjoyed it all.
They also serve their own delicious homebrewed beer.
I cannot now recall what we paid for the room but remember that we thought it was very good value for the standard of accommodation and location.
