Stayed 3 nights in July. Basic room with TV, Minibar, Telephone and onsuite bathroom toilet washbasin and Bath/Shower. No air conditioning, but a large openable window. However since it's the centre of town you cannot have the window open and get a quiet nights sleep - traffic and people etc. Breakfast is buffet style and served in resturaunt on the ground floor The staff on reception are friendly and I have no complaints except for the cleanliness of the place. The bed linnen and towels are fresh every day and bins are emtied. That is fine. The hotel was renovated, I believe in 1999. However, There clearly has not been Proper room cleaning in months. The Bathroom tiled walls are not cleaned and have black mould beteen the tiles. Nor, is the bathroom floor as when I checked in there was clear signs of excriment on the bathroom floor. When I complained The Housekeeper Cleaner - in charge Came in and saw the mess and used the Toilet cleaning brush to clean the bathroom floor. This was with NO cleaning liquid or detergent. I could not believe what was happening. This person looked to be an Immigrant to Denmark did not know what soap was. I just got her to leave since It was clear that she thought she was doing the right thing. With that there is also evidence of no proper cleaning in the bedroom as the Telephone was filthy - covered in stains. There was a thick layer of dust inder ther bed mattress and cigarette ash. The TV remote had bits of food stuck to it and a clear line of Dust around the perimeter of the room where the Vacuum cleaner did not reach. Finally the light switches were also mucky and had not been cleaned. The resteraunt also showed signs of a lack of proper cleaning on the floor and window cills and looked a bit grubby. The food was typical buffet style that you would find in most places and is unremarkable. I have to add that I stayed in and saw 1 room so I may just have been unlucky to have got the bad one but to me that reflects on the rest of the place.
The building is a lovely Art Deco Liner style right next to the station Very central. Outwardly it is not the sandstone colour of the adverts but more grey and in need of redecoration. No views from my room other than a busy street but views if the main railway station would be had from the rooms on the opposite side of the corridor. Note:- some sites listing this hotel associate pictures of up market resturaunt meals with the building and room pictures. This place is bed and breakfast only and the pictures are misleading.

I have stayed in this hotel not for a long time. Just between my flghts. It is next door to train station so must be best for those who are coming by train or plane. Train station is just 10 min by train from Airport (airport train staion is in Terminal 3). For young people it is good to stay there but older might be dissapointed. Sometimes other guests are very loud during night. As well hotel is very close to one of the big streets and red light street of Copenhages (this my boyfriend told me just month after i stayed in hotel). In advertisement mentioned that rooms are with showers or bath tubs. Both times I got bath tube which was very small and uncomfortable. I like more quick shower in mornings so it was terrible. Rooms are cold if you forget to turn on heating (i just next morning discovered it). One more thing I didn't like was that hairdryers were only in reception but on the way from breakfast I always took it.
Breakfast included to price of room (From 0700 until 1000) Friendly people in reception (when i asked for internet they offered cheaper place) Few steps from train station and central part of city. Huge single beds
