It is not within walking distance. I gues 45+ minutes. However the metro station is just around the corner and that takes about 5 minutes to the center and maybe 5-10 minutes walk to the castle from here.
Blue dot is the hotel, M is the station. Take the line towards Lergravsparken or Vestamager and get off at Kongens Nytorv.

...the castle that is. The hotel is central but in the "other end" of the city centre compared to the castle. However, if you walk your way through the centre with a nice coffee or lunch break, it makes a nice day. Otherwise, just follow Soren's advise.

Charlotta I think you are confusing this hotel with the other SAS Radisson. This one is in Frederiksberg.
