Without personality
I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a very large hotel but is very noisy and does not have a "soul" or personality.
Unique Quality: Very good (free) wireless internet.

Scandic Copenhagen
This four star hotel is located by the lake and has a good view over the lake in central but not so crowded area. Often full. Has a wide selection in breakfast buffet. A section is dedicated to the Asian customers as it also has special arrangement for Thai Airways crews. By the way, the Asian food could be a little strong in the morning if you are not used to it. Have wareless internet connection to the rooms. Also at the lobby some internet terminals.

I usually use the Scandic network, it is a great network around Denmark, Scandinavia and the Baltic stats. I received few times great offers from them also for family pack.
The bonus is that with each stay, I get also extra miles on my airline operator programs. :)

Bergen&Oslo or Stockholm
Would you recommend visiting Oslo and Bergen (+ Fjords) or seeing Stockholm?
I will be visiting Europe throughout July 2009 with my girlfriend. We are not big partiers and are more into history, scenery, and taking in local culture. We are not really huge art people.
I would appreiate your opinions. We would love to see both countries, but time contraints will only allow us to see one. Thank you!

Difficult choice.
Train journey between Oslo and Bergen is stunning and the fjords are awe-inspiring.
Stockholm on the other hand has the archipelago which is fantastic in the summer and lots of history in the city and surrounds.
If we had to choose we´d go on whichever of the places had the better offers at Scandic hotels. During the summer they can be ridiculously cheap.
The Swedes seem to have been neglecting their currency a bit recently, so Norway will probably be more expensive if that´s a factor in your calculations.
