Green Hotel in the middle of nowhere...
Located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, this hotel was rather disappointing. From the outside, the architecture is pretty dull. However the inside architecture is kind of original with the reception space spanning the whole building height.
Maybe not justified but the room looked relatively cheap even if there was an obvious effort to include some design. I particularly enjoyed the lamps! Very nice! I can’t really say the same for the bathroom. Completely covered in little with tiles with an Italian shower without any separation. It was maybe done on purpose but it gave the feeling of being in a butchery or something like that…
The bed was a double one, a bit too hard to my taste.
Quite nice the breakfast buffet was included in the room price but it was far from being exceptional, just about decent. I'll particularly remember the water melon:
far from being fresh the first day, much better the following days. That's maybe part of their 'green policy', no useless food trashing?

Unique Quality: On the positive side, this hotel also demonstrated several original aspects.
- There was a baby foot in front of the reception
- There was also a small shop available with basic things like toothpaste, sandwiches,...
- Apparently the hotel also provide some bikes, I haven't investigated further the option since the weather was not that good!
- I was staying at the end of November and they were installing a big Christmas tree.
It was the first time I was staying at a Scandic, overall, I'd say the atmosphere is much more relaxed than in a traditional Hilton, Sheraton,...|Unfortunately I can't say anything about the price range since the room was pre-paid.

Excellent business hotel
Stayed here numerous time over the years since we have an office in Ringaer near Copenhagen.
The hotel is probably like 1.5-2.0 miles Soutwest of the city center.
It is clean, comfortable, modern and has reasonable rates. There's a small bar and restaurant on-site and broadband internet (wired) is available for free in the room.
The customers are made up largely by business people, which I like a lot since it means there's not too much noise from children on vacation :)
We had good rates from our company but I checked their website and the rack rate is around $150

this hotel is not located in the most interesting part of copenhagen, but you can take the S-train from sydhavnen station to the center of town.
it takes only 5 minutes.
sydhavnen station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
