Propellen Hotel

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Legoland. Hotel Propellen is a four-star hotel only 500 meters from the park. It's very comfortable and seems to be popular with airline crews whose flight schedules terminate at Billund as well as families visiting Legoland.

Our one and only complaint was when we got into our room. The children's bed hadn't been made up and when we asked at reception, we were told that we had to make the bed up ourselves. This was a very poor response considering that this is a four star hotel. The last thing we wanted after a long day was to make up beds.

Because of this I've not given it the four star rating under "satisfaction" that it deserves. A pity really as it is a nice hotel and we enjoyed it here.

Unique Quality: Nice swimming pool. Exercise area and saunas next to pool.

The bar is very cosy with a view over the swimming pool. A great place to relax.

We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but it looked good.

Excellent games room where our children played table tennis and pool.

Directions: 500 meters from the main entrance to Legoland.
