from esbjerg airport you will need to take a bus to asbjerg train station and from there the train to copenhagen.
esbjerg to copenhagen by train is about 3 hours.

www.dsb.dk is the site of the railway company.

Fastest way is to NOT go to Esbjerg at all. :-)

I am not sure why you are in Esbjerg at that time, but if the only reason is because of the cheap Ryan Air tickets from London, then I would suggest flying to Sturup in Sweden instead. It's much nearer and cheaper to go to Cph from there. Even better would be to go by easyJet directly to Cph. The price for a easyJet ticket London to Cph is less than the train ticket from Esbjerg.

But I know I am just guessing on your intentions...

Travel Tips for Esbjerg

One of the unique cultural features of Esbjerg is that the Danish people have the habit of getting drunk when possible.
I've seen them drinking heavily at seven o'clock in the morning at Billund airport, because alcohol there is half the price then in the local pubs. It's also normal to drink two or three bottles of Tuborg at lunch when the boss is paying. Good attitude.

A Day-out in Esbjerg

by travelife

It was just a day-out in Esbjerg back in 2002. Apart from a port city and the fouth largest city in Denmark, its really a low-key for tourists. But its conveniently can be visited while visiting the historic town of Ribe by train. Like other Danish towns streets and pedestrianised shopping streets are spot-less beauty. It also has its own share of mini sculture-fountain.
