Den Gamle Kro

A traditional Danish country inn in the village of Gram, in the centre of southern Jutland, southeast of Ribe. The inn is right opposite an attractive moated manor house, which also has accommodation run by the same people as the inn.

A very friendly inn with modern motel accommodation behind the older restaurant building. The ground floor rooms are large and have doors out onto a garden at the back. The restaurant was excellent, although very quiet the night we were there.

We paid DKK675 for a double for one night, having booked on the Danske Kroer & Hoteller website (www.krohotel.dk).

Unique Quality: Very attractive location by the manor house.

Directions: At the northern end of the village, right by the manor house (slott).
