Kommanorgardens Camping: Camping near sea with horses

You can kill two birds with one stone - camping place with horses farm.
The camping was OK, nothing special, just primal needs for short staying. There were special places for tents which were separated by bushes and trees; that kind of extra I haven't seen nowhere. Maybe I was there in no-season for Denmark but what surprised me that there were not so many campers there, this place for tents was quite huge. I can mention extra: there was tap with cold water close to tent places :)
Also if you travel without tent you can spend your night in special summer houses.

It is important to have special camping card which can be used all the year in all Nordic countries. Whether you pay for staying in each camping some sum or you pay once and use it many times. In Denmark it cost 90 DKK.

As I mentioned before there are bred many horses. So from here are organized different excursions with them also enjoying sandy beaches. From camping place going to observe the sea you can watch all the beauties browsing meadows there.
In the camping there is also some wellness center but I can't say anything about it because I didn't use it.
There are special area where one can find different activities like mini golf and mini cars.

Camping: one of my best childhood memories

There is a large camping-site in Romo and the only dis-advantage was that the beach was in quite a distance. But on the other hand this was made also for safety reasons, because the beach is so very flat that ebb and tide make a difference of 100 meters or more in the coastline and so the camping had to be built in a safe place.

Skaerbaek Holiday Centre Cottages: Small but Nice Cottages Next To Activity Centre

We didn't stay on Rømø itself but in a town called Skaerbaek located on the mainland right on the other side of the dam that's connecting Rømø to mainland Jutland. Skaerbaek itself is not really a touristy town, even though there's a couple of B&Bs -- and of course our holiday centre adjacent to a sports park.

The cottages are small and it is not advisable to rent them with more than 3-4 people. Guests have free admission to the adjacent acitivity centre with indoor swimming pool and bowling green. Wheelchair-friendly place.

Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
