Good experience
Very clean and comfortable hotel. With it's central location it provides spacious and comfortable rooms. Not occupied by Finns&Swedes with a "holistic" view, but more elderly people with clean habits. No single disturbance at the night time.
Breakfast good/standard (Estonian type of English breakfast, with herring, no-crisp bacons, ridiculous croissants&baquettes etc.) and service is fast.
Only possible negative thing is that the hotel is maybe too obviously Italian stereotyped decorated.
Unique Quality: Sauna- yacuzzi department was surprisingly clean and neat. In a morning could be reserved for a private use without extra fee.

Smooth hotel, great location
This is the third hotel I've stayed in in Tallinn, and I reckon this as the best.
The location is very good. In the Old Town, which is definately where you want to stay in this city of contrasts, only two minutes walk from the Town Hall. And still it is not far from the Viru Shopping center outside the Old Town. It's just by an old impressive cinema, one of the few buildings you can still see communist-symbols.
I stayed in a superior-room, but it is almost exactly the same as a standard room. The rooms have a high ceiling, which gives you a nice feeling. The reception is how you expect a top-end-hotel to be, and the elevator is even a bit more. The art on the walls are also much better than the average hotel-art.
But the the breakfast was'nt that amazing, the bed was a bit too hard for me and the bathroom only had a shower (the hotel still had a sauna somewhere).
Unique Quality: Nice looking, and the rooms have rather high ceiling.

Small rooms / Great location
Nice hotel, but not a 4 star by Canadian standards (probably 3 star). The standard room was pretty small (didn't get to see a superior room) and didn't offer much in the way of amenities other than the bed and a desk.
The outside of the hotel is every bit as nice as the pics on the website and the lobby and staircase are very nice as well but the restaurant and rooms lack the same appeal.
The breakfast was very good although more variety would have made it even better
