    High-level luxury

    by

Swissotel Tallinn is located on a prime spot next to Stockmann department store, and a few blocks from the city centre and the old town. The building is currently the tallest in Tallinn, and the top-floor restaurant has excellent views and good food.

We had reserved a "kids special" room, two inter-connected room, one normal hotel room for adults, and other kid-themed room for the children. There were Disney motifs on walls, beds, and also in the bathroom. A couple of smaller chairs and two toys complemented the offering. Both rooms were very spacious, and all amenities were top-notch. The bathroom was huge, and the rain shower excellent. Only bath-tub was missing -- that can be found in grand rooms that cost a couple dozen euros more. Our room rate included an excellent buffet breakfast on Swiss café, on eighth floor.

There is also an excellent spa on the eleventh floor. One can find a good Finnish sauna, a decent Turkish sauna, a huge pool, and a big gym (that we didn't try out). A bunch of treatments are available, too.

The hotel is quite expensive compared to most of Tallinn hotels, but during this summer (2009) there has been several very good offers.

Luxury hotel in the centre of Tallinn

    by

Loved this hotel! I was amazed by the views when we entered our room! We had a double room on the 16th floor which had two big windows that offered great views over to the harbour.
The room itself was very spacious with a modern decor. The bathroom was great as well with a bath tub and a shower. There's also an espresso machine and tea making facilities in the room so you don't even have to leave the room to have a cup of coffee.

I enjoyed staying at Swissotel so much, that I could hardly leave the room for exploring the city! The hotel is located in the new centre of Tallinn so there's not much to see in the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town.

Unique Quality: There's a spa on the 11th floor, which offers massages and all other special treatments for you to enjoy after a long day. We didn't try any of them, but we did have a swim at the big swimming pool and tried their sauna as well.

    Swissotel

This Swissotel Tallinn is one of the new ones and probably the best 5 star hotel in Tallinn currently. This was the place I stay for one night in one of my last visits to Tallinn, it is the same hotel the visiting presidents to Tallinn stay in while visiting this country. It is located in the city center in the business and shopping district, about 10 minutes to walk to the old city from here.

Unique Quality: Best luxurious in this city, any extra words are not needed :)

    Directions: The business district

Okay, I am aware of what the package states. I am not retarded, nor am I illerate. I was looking to verify the agency's claims before I sent a good chunk of my money to them.

I don't think I'll be back to this board because no one has been the least bit helpful, in fact you've been nothing but insulting. Thanks for nothing.

Well, I stayed at the Swissotel last summer and I really liked it! So, just go ahead and book it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
