Jõekääru Camping: Mad schaefer camping

In this camping site you could easily film a movie of poor and miserable life behind the iron curtain in the fifties. The time has ceased to run, the buildings have detoriated, the river nearby dried and hundred year old trees are just humming in the mild summer breeze. This is a perfect place to stop by for a break from the civilized and material world.

Downsize is that the place is also popular amongst the vodka orienteed Soviet teenagers, the utility building is in terrible condition and a mad schaefer is terrorising the area. It tried to attack on me with the full consent of the owner, the staff of the camping site. When it didn't succeed he (the dog) pissed on my tent.

Very cheap though, in a tent you will have more fresh air than in the cabins for 50 EEK per night/person.

Villa Wesset: Brand New Digs

This is a brand new facility which hasn't attracted any guests yet. The result is an excellent night's sleep and outstanding service at a reasonable price. The price is a fraction of what it will be once the place begins filling up. The restaurant also serves up made to order breakfasts as part of the price and serves trendy lunches and dinners as well.

Hostel Staadioni: Basic, but good

Staadioni was part of a Pärnu stadium, but now it's a hostel. Situated just 100m away from the beach, this location is perfect for those who come to Pärnu because of the beach (this means more or less everybody).
The hostel is clean, but basic. Toilets and showers are shared. The double rooms all have a TV and enough space to store stuff.

Unique Quality: Its unique quality is the proximity to the beach - 100m is hard to outperform. Furthermore, the price is very low (outside the main season) - only 300EEK for a double room, i.e. 20 Euro.
