Arensburg
****I've decided to leave this page up, but Arensburg decided to jump into the spa buisness, completed a huge addition and is now a new spa resort. So most of this review is no longer relevant, other than being a place to consider checking into.****
This hotel has 25 rooms and 1 suite. I have stayed here twice now and surprisingly got the same room both times. The rooms are very warm and comfortable and in the evening they often have a fire going in the dining area during winter.
The prices change throughout the season, and I have been told that it often fills up during the summer so check before staying there.
I would not recomend eating at the hotel for dinner though. They have a restruant that is owned by the same company that is very close by and I suspect that they bring the food over from there and it is more expensive in the hotel. But the food is good if you do not want to leave the hotel.
There are three or four smaller hotels like "Arensburg" that are in Kuressaare that are very nice and cozy and I would not recomend staying at one of the larger corporate hotels unless you have no other choice.
Unique Quality: I think that the hotel is in a turn of the century building and the rooms are very warm, comfortable, and quiet.
It is located in the center of town and is very close to the fortress, beach, and everything else that Kuressaare has to offer.
