Stanislaus Rogosinsky built wooden manorhouse into the place of previous castle or middle ages settlement.
1629 - 1776 belonged manor to Herman von Liepsdorff who was Tartu's royal court member and later rector of the Berlin's grammar school. During Liepsdorff's time it is known it was wooden building and manor had difficulties. The war just finished. In the middle of the 18th century rebuildings started and manor got its baroch castell like view .
Courtyard in the middle and entrance tower what You can see in my picture. In 1776 Liepsdorffs daughter merried and manor complex went to von Glasenapps family. During that time there were already 10 buildings in the complex. Durong 1918/20 complex belonged to von Glasenapps family but went to governments hands in 1926. Buildings remained empty. Owner Guido con Glasenapp built himself a new house nearby.
In 1934 there was school opened in the manor house. Which is remained during that time. School is located in the main house and guesthouse is in the left wing of the complex and in the right wing is Ruusmae's culturehouse.
