Lake Prespa, although it has some tourist facilities, is much quieter than Ohrid and places to stay are less obvious. The MVR is a basic hotel - private facilities, small balcony, no TV - from the Yugoslav era; no frills, decent food, decent beer. There's a campsite behind the hotel and access to the lake. The place could be a bit awkward to get at if you're not mobile but it's pretty convenient for the lake and the Ohrid - Bitola road road if you are. Likewise, your nearest shop might be something of a hike. It doesn't seem too full even in high season - and Prespa, compared with Ohrid, isn't either - so, unless you're looking for mundane things like luxury and nightlife, this comes well recommended.
