Hotel Menuvacnica: The only recommendable in the city

If you plan a trip to the Prespa lake, you will better stay the night before in Resen.
The only place to stay there is Hotel Menuvacnica for 400 Denar a person. It is rather new.

The other one, Hotel Kitka, was a B- category hotel in the 60s or 70s. But now it costs 750 Denar for 1 person and could be the worst you have ever experienced: No curtains for the night or against the sun, water was not really hot, fresh towels still wet inside the folding, be aware if the flexible tube of the toilet cistern is inside. Otherways, water will flood the bathroom. The reception staff will be very keen to enter your passport dates into a computer. Because if you after that go out and see Hotel (Motel, it's the same) Menuvacnica, you are cought by the informatic system and have to pay anyway.
The rooms are rather big and at first look you seem to be in a true Hotel. The beef soup for breakfast was good, but the tea served whith it was like of straw.

Hotel Kitka is very near from it. If you were taken there, go to Menuvacnica:

Exit the door, look to the left to see it, cross the street and reach it.
