Probably the best hotel in Skopje

We were expecting the best hotel in the city, and when we entered the central hall we had our expectations confirmed. I have also seen many hotels where the lobby is impressive, but the rooms are very basic. This was not one of those. The rooms at the Aleksandar Palace have all you expect from a 5-stars hotel.
One thing I find annoying in most high-class hotels is that they hide the stairs, and the guests must use the elevators even if they need to move one flor up or down, so I was very pleased when I saw that in this hotel there is a beautiful staircase of shiny marble, which I used all the time, except when arriving and leaving with the luggage.

Unique Quality: I appreciated very much in this hotel the fact that although modern and grand, the architect managed to give it some local flair with the rows of arches overlooking the central hall, evoking the architecture of old monasteries.
