I stayed here for one night, as I didn't realise Klaksvík had a campsite.

Like all hostels in the Faroes it's a good idea to call or email ahead, when I arrived there was no one there, so I had to go to the Tourist Office and get them to phone someone to come and let me in.

The woman who came to let me in was very friendly, and I had my own room with a wash basin for 120Dkr. I think I may have been lucky, normally you'd perhaps only get a dorm bed for this.

Fantastic facilities, kitchen with brand new oven and cooking utensils etc.

Also handily located for the ferry port.
