One notices a big mall with “Jumbo” written on it and this is just a ten minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is fairly modern and reception is friendly. I was given a fairly large corner room with kitchen, microwave and lots of cabinets (119). Unfortunately there was no bath tub, but the standup shower was strong and gets warm pretty quickly. Internet is not free though and you have to pay about 7 Euro per hour or 15 Euro per day (as of Sept 2008). That is a disadvantage for tourists like me, but there seems to be a lot of business travelers who wouldn’t mind just charging it to their business accounts. The breakfast at the café is awesome, with lots of selection and eating on nice comfy leather chairs like what I have at home. The receptionist told me the last bus from Helsinki is at 1AM, but check the schedule (Bus 615 leaves from platform 5 on the right side of the main train station). Overall, a very convenient hotel close to the airport and very convenient if you have an early flight.

For some strange reason it is quite a bit more expensive for me to fly directly into Tallinn than Helsinki, so when going to Estonia I always fly to Helsinki first. When I stay in Helsinki I almost always stay at the Bonus Inn. I have stayed there three or four times now for a total of about 10 days and have never had a problem of any type.
The rooms, although a little small, are always very clean, warm, and comfortable. Most all of the times that we have stayed there we have also had a kitchenette in the room at no extra cost or request. Despite the very modern styled building it has a very comfortable quiet feeling like a much smaller hotel.
The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
They have a free shuttle to and from the airport. They also have a bus stop that goes directly to the train/bus station in Helsinki within 10 meters of the front door. If you get bored the Jumbo mall is about a 10 minute walk along a well lit path that is not on any busy roads.
The only downfalls are that the workout room is "ok" at best and there is no pool, which seems to be common in Europe.
I have never eaten in the resturant, but the complimentary breakfast is good and considering the way the rest of the hotel is managed I am sure it would also be good.
