Suburban star of Helsinki
I haven't stayed in the hotel, I live nearby to it.
Unique Quality: The hotel is located in a peaceful residential area, even though it just happens to be next to the main road #3. Good connections: 10 min walk to commuter train stop, bus stop by the hotel, 15 minutes from the airport by car. 15-30 min from the mid-town (Kamppi).
The restaurant has excellent price/quality ratio; not Gourmet, but still good.
The hotel is run by the educational Haaga institute, which has for examples Degree Programme in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. The staff consist partly of trainees and students, who have the enthusiasisim of the young :-)

Q: Do busses run to the airport 24/7? If not, what time do they start? "I need to get to the airport by 6 AM on Sunday (so I probably need to get on the bus around 5:30 AM), will the 615 or the Finnair..."
A: "I walked down to where the 615 departs from but I didn't see any type of time-schedule listed anywhere. :/"
