Scandic Lappeenranta
As usual, if I can I use the Scandic hotels (part of the Hilton networks in Scandinavia)
I spend here only one night and it was nice, location is perfect just between the city centre and the fortress.

The only place I know
I spend New Year's Eve in Lappeenranta and we stayed at the Scandic Patria as they had a very good offer.
In general the hotel is a quite small but well kept Scandic which is located rather conveniently near the shopping area, the harbour and the fortress.
The room was not spectacular but nice: small balcony, clean bath with shower and hairdryer, TV, minibar and phone.
As it was pretty cold and snowy outside the indoor parking, which was free of charge, came very handy.
Unique Quality: Yes, I admit, it was the breakfast that I liked best about the Scandic in Lappeenranta.
A great variety of cold and warm food, cereals and different kinds of coffee and other beverages were served in a very nice room, not too big and nicely decorated.
