Always in the center of history and high society, Haikko Manor was purchased in 1965 by the Vuoristo family and converted into the grand hotel it is today. Its elegant rooms are divided among several buildings. It has more choices for indulging your appetite than I can mention here; some of the notable dining rooms are the Romanov Dining Room, the Manor House Dining Room, the Louis Sparre Room, and the Spa Cafe.
Rooms in the Spa Hotel begin at 90 Euros PER PERSON (depending on the season) for a double, with breakfast at the Manor House included, as well as use of the Yorokobi Wellness Pools and fitness center. Expect extra charges for additional persons and suites. Single Supplement charge is 40 Euro.
Rooms in the Manor House itself begin at 129 Euros PER PERSON (depending on the season) including breakfast ; special packages including more meals or options may be a better choice for the money if available. Manor House rms. provide robes, slippers, TV, mini-bar, 7 rooms have balconies. All rooms expected to have wide-screen TV & internet connections by 2006.
This hotel is a special place for those whose budgets can accommodate some extravagances, but the memories will probably out weigh the drain on your wallet.
The Manor House is set in deep woods and near waterfront as well. The Manor House and restaurants are elegant. All rooms are individually decorated. The Spa is particularly appealing because it offers a wide range of services to reinvigorate yourself through its pools, saunas, therapeutic massages, etc. If you can't stay overnight, at least try the day spa treatments.
