Walking Around, Pt. 2 by Marpessa
In the late afternoon I started to stroll down Hämeenpuisto and just generally walking around the area. Walking past Hämeenpuisto to the Pyynikin Kirkkopuisto, which is part garden, part cemetery. In front of the church there, there is a nice fountain and flower bed.After that I headed towards Eteläpuisto. A beautiful garden with sculptures, green hills, tall thin trees and excellent view of the lake Pyhäjärvi. There were paths to walk around the lake, but I only went a little way along them. I passed an area where people were playing mini golf and could hear sounds of music in the distance (although I am not sure what this was from). Along the shore of the lake were many colourful little boats. It was a very relaxing place to walk around on a warm summer evening.
