I've stayed here only once and it was quite alright. The rooms are rather plain but tidy (as always in Finland). The experience was not especially great but not bad either. The hotel used to be a cow house and it looks like it, too. It is frequently used by all the local businesses for their guests. There's also a sauna department and that is often used for informal business parties. As the near by manor house restaurant is a popular place to hold weddings, this hotel is often used as accommodation for wedding guests.
It is located in a very peaceful place and offers views to a golf course. There's also a lake near by (Tuusulanjarvi).
Are you looking for somewhere to go back to nature, to get out of the ordinary at low cost and still stay relatively close to "civilization"? This lakeside resort could be a good option because it is located in a very beautiful place and the rooms are inexpensive, modest but modern and clean (Finland is a very clean country). I know people who like to go there regularly for lunch or just for a cup of coffee.
Their website is in Finnish only but has some nice pictures of the place. My pictures are of the older buildings for this place was a health resort about a century ago.
This place is well equipped for blind people because it used to be a training and recreation center for the blind only. Now also others can use it. They have a romantic log cabin for two with magnificent views over the lake.
This is not exactly hotel, but house for retired people, so, if you even wish to retire in peace and harmony, maybe this is the place.
