Linnunlahti Camping: Very nice camping-area!
We stayed here at summer 2005 I think. After horrible camping in Imatra, this was like luxus!
The cabins were bigger than most camping-cabins and they were very clean. The cooking plate wasn´t at the cabin, you needed to take ask it from the staff, and maybe it was one reason why it was like a brabd new.
Place was very central, so it would have been easy to go to the restaurants also. We were with our dogs, so we didn´t go anywhere.
cabin is 35 to 42 e for 2 to 6 person-so very cheap also!

Sokos Hotel
That hotel is just across from the railway station, so it is good location in case you are using the train.

This is where we stayed. A private cottage owned by friends. A lot of Finnish people have one and there are also many that are for rent. They are all over the country, come in various sizes and levels of luxury. Most are at a lakeside and all have a sauna! This one had electricity, no water and a toilet outside. And stunning views over lake Pielinen of course!
