The headquarters town of Mikkeli has good connections from all over Finland and Sokos Hotel Vaakuna pulsates only a stone's throw away from Mikkeli market place. Hotel is built in 1990. It is quite a striking building, its white walls contrasting with bright red canopies covering every window. This is a highly modern and very well equipped hotel in an excellent location and even has a golf simulator to assess distance and swing, in the basement. Roof top floor hosts great sauna department with a jacuzzi showing view of city.
