Pietarsaari - Jakobstad --- A pretty town
Coming back from Vaasa I stopped in Pietarsaari (or Jakobstad in Swedish) to have a look at the town. Runeberg, the Finnish National poet, was born here and spent some time of his childhood in a cottage at the outskirts of Pietarsaari. Another interesting fact is that this town was a center for the Finnish tabacco industry which left its traces in a beautiful art nouveau styled factory building and a museum.
