Not recommendable
We stayed there only for one night. First we were happy to realise that it has a reasonably good location, close to the river. When we arrived there, it was 14:45 and we were told that they open at 15:00. We agreed to wait till 3 pm but meanwhile witnessed that they served two men, apparently from the Arabic countries. It made us feel very stupid.
However, when it was already 15:00 we went over to the reception and the first bad surprise came with the fact that we have to pay 5 euro for linens and tissues, although we were never warned on this.
It was pretty too much to realise that Internet is not free of charge and if you want to connect to it you have to use their Internet cafe.
Luggage lockers are also to pay, otherwise you have to leave it in the room, accessible by the staff and other 8 people.
The hostel itself is nothing special, Thanks God they don't charge the showers and the kitchen. They close the kitchen after 23:00.

Hostel Turku
This hostel located by the river not far from the city centre of the ferry harbour either. It is much cheaper then any hotel so if you are on the budget I suggest to stay here. Just remember that during the summer time and other holiday season this place is fully booked so make your reservations well in advance.

Famous and affordable Hostel
This is a good one, if you are a backpacker or Interrailer. Or when you want to sleep in a nice place ( better than a tent) but you don't want to waste all your travel cheques just to get a bed and a pillow.
Unique Quality: Turku Hostel is also in city centre, located near Aura river.You can also eat good and healthy breakfast here (or it was a healthy one 2 yrs ago, I don't know situation right now).
Hostel Turku houses twin and quadruple rooms. Or choose a really low-budget alternative in a room for 6-8 persons for only 13,50 €.

Hostel Turku is an excellent choice for travellers who want to explore Turku without spending too much. It is situated near the heart of the city, Turku Castle and the Passenger Ferry Harboura and close to the River Aura. The breakfast costs 4.50 €.
