Lomamaja Pekonen: Nice cottages in Muonio
I was staying in Pekonen for a week for cross-country skiing. The skiing tracks started just from the corner of the cottage! Olostunturi, the closest downhill skiing center is 6 kms away.
In summer they rent canoes, kayaks and boats for the closeby lake. Pekonen also oragnizes guided paddling, fishing and hiking trips and terrain meal courses.
Pekonen has six apartments for 2-4 persons, three cottages for 4-6 persons, ten huts for 2-4 persons plus 3 double rooms. All have shower, toilet, kitchen and TV. The apartments also have saunas.

Torassiepim LomaPallas: A great stay in the forest
This fantastic B&B is located in Torassieppi, just 15 chilometres far from Muonio. Here you can taste an unique experience!!!! The rooms are very nice cottages with beds, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and sauna!!!! You can do many activities like reindeer rides and safaris, pack reindeer excursions, fishing, introduction into reindeer husbandry, excursions into Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, fishing, snowmobile and husky dog safaris, river rafting etc.
The food is great and the people are very friendly!!!

Harriniva Holiday Centre: Harriniva
The Harriniva Holiday Centre is not just a Hotel, its got Appartements , Huts and offers lots of activities.
They've even got their own Husky farm. It's located very nicely near the River.
Unique Quality: The Hotel rooms have got a double and a single bed and a bathroom. Lots of wood decorates the rooms wich makes them feel very warm and comfortable.
