Cumulus Rovaniemi

From outside , the building is nothing worth wathing, but it has the advantage of being placed in the middle of Rovaniemi, a minute walk from the main plaza and restaurants/fastfoods.

Inside is like a typical hotel built in the 70ies, nothing wrong but again , nothing to stare at....

The hall and the dining room is shared , so it can happen to see guest checking in the hotel in line while other persons pass through their line with food dishes, since the self service table and the dining tables are divided by the hotel's entrance.
Depending on your reservation from home, U'll have the choice between self service buffet or traditional dinner served by waiters.
Usually 90% of the guest chose the self service.
The food is of good quality and it rotates dayly on a week base. The water is included but other's beverages are not so be careful since half glass of wine can cost 4,30 €.

The rooms are clean and there's nothing to complain about.
I've been told that the all rooms have only two single beds, so no double..... but I'm not sure of it... in case ask it in advance.
The toilet is clean but cheap furnished... there is a strange kind of bidet linked directly to the washbasin, but there's no wc brush.

The bed i quite soft with mattress on sight , covered by by a cotton sheet and a light blanket over all. Cold would not be of any concern since the air in the room is quite warm.

There is no sun shutter , only a heavy curtain, but since in winter time u can see the sun only on a postcard , no problem about that.... :-D

Unique Quality: There is a sauna and a swimming pool free for the guests opening from 4.30 p.m.
The water in the swimming pool IS COLD and I suppose is used only after the sauna and not as a stand alone relaxing swimming pool.

On the buffet table there is always hot water and coffe for the guests in case they want to drink some tea or the like...

Central, quiet, comfortable, pleasent, cozy.Cumulus Rovaniemi is a peaceful and comfortable hotel right in the centre of town. All recreations of Lappland's nature and attractions of the town are within reach.

Unique Quality: In the centre of the city ( take a look of the map), with a very good restaurant, pool, sauna, bar, etc.
