The Sokos Hotel in Rovaniemi was a nice hotel with clean rooms. The location is an added bonus, close to everything.

My Rovaniemi home
The hotel is friendly and comfortable. It was a little on the quiet side of things, but it was the summer after all.
The hotel restaurant was a Fransimanni and it was excellent value and the food was good too!
Unique Quality: It is situated very close to the river and the nearby shopping facilities. Oh, and it is near many bars!

One of my personal favourites!
Unique Quality: Sokos Hotels is the biggest hotel chain in Finland, 37 hotels in 26 cities all around the Finland. The hotel offers you a wide range of restaurant services from breakfast to the small ours.
Facilities: Each room has a shower, WC, TV, satellite channels, Pay-TV, telephone, minibar and a trouser press; floor heating in the bathrooms.
Other Facilities: The hotel has three saunas, a 36-person conference room with a scenic window, the Rosso Restaurant that seats 120 people, the Uitto Pub that seats 50, the Fransmanni Restaurant that seats 180, the Public Corner bar that holds 80 people, and the Doris Night Club that holds 450. There is a heated garage.
