Levi Fell in Finland/LaplandVillage Sirkka and famous Levi Ski Resort
Village Sirkka belongs to Kittilä municipality. There is one of the most famous ski resort´s in Finland called Levi. With its fell Sirkka village has developed into a tourist destination, where there is plenty of activities every day during every season of the year.
There are 7 seasons in Levi. In autumn is the "ruska" time, when the trees are adorned with colorful leaves and Laplandýscolors are at their most brilliant. Then there is a period of deep blue polar nights, "kaamos" in Finnish. Then comes Christmas and winter time. After winter comes spring with the lenghtening days. Summer in Lapland is a season of Midnight Sun and afer the nightless Lapland summer comes the harvest season for berries and mushrooms and again Levi drifts into autumn colors until the year turns bac into winter again.
